Sew, a Needle Pulling Thread.....

Hand sewing those 3 bands of braid sure took along time......

......but I think it was worth it!

I don't use a lot of plain fabric, I've always been rather addicted to print, but I'm loving this dress. Must grab the dye pot, and start experimenting with my white cotton lawn.

Hoping to finish all the hand sewing on my 2 Izzies tomorrow!

Dottie Doings....

I took the day off yesterday, to go to a local antique fair and a craft and farmers market. I picked up some scrummy rosemary, olive oil and salt bread which makes the world's best toast! Mr Dottie got himself some handmade jam, I got an osteospermum (posh daisy) for the patio.

I found some lovley vintage braid, a cute 1920's postcard, and a couple of charms too....

Today I haven't stopped sewing.....

I've fitted the bodice of my Izannah Walker inspired dolls bodice, now to hand finish the rest of the dress!!

On the work table

Today I've been sewing small smalls!

After selecting fabrics for the dresses and underwear for the 2 Izannah Walker inspired cloth and clay dolls that I have on the go, I started constructing their outfits today.
It's nice when it all starts to come together!
