Painting Day

The light has been terrible again today - I really wish we could get some serious sunshine!!!

But I've been painting brooches anyway, it's hard to get good photos in the greyness.....but here's an idea of where I am with it!

Art & Design Christmas Fair

 

 

 

I've been busy, busy busy today getting ready for the Christmas Art &Design Fair, tomorrow at The Minories in Colchester

 

 

There are 2 exhibitions on in the gallery, Mary Lu's pop up vintage shop, and The Minories own Christmas shop will be open. What's more, it's free to get in!

I think it will be a great day, with lots of unique items, which you can either buy as gifts for your loved ones...or maybe a treat for yourself!

New Stock in the Shop

I've been rather quiet lately......trying to get some brooches and fridge magnets ready for my Etsy shop.

 

 

The weather here has been quite grey and damp, so getting a dry day to get the spray varnish done, or enough light to take good photos has really been a challenge. But I'm pleased to say that today I manged to get some complete.

 

 

I also had some good news last week, I have been accepted into Art Dolls Only. I'm thrilled to have been accepted, and I'm looking forward to getting to know the other artists, and joining in the challenges with the group. If you are curious about doll art, the Art Dolls Only website really is a good place to start!
