Throwback Thursday

This one's a work in progress shot, from about 1998. Rebecca was an edition of 10 wax over porcelain dolls, each dressed individually.
Sculpted, painted, and dressed by me. To get the depth and shine in the eyes, they were fired 10-12 times in the kiln. This version has a blonde human hair wig, decorated with paper flowers.
