We had a great time at Junk Jamboree on Saturday, it's always nice to meet customers face to face, listen to live music and meet other vintage and handmade lovers from our area.
This time we even got to meet some greyhounds....the proceeds from the fair go to support Clark's Farm Greyhound Rescue. I love dogs, so was delighted to get to have a cuddle :0)
Then on Sunday we went treasure hunting! I found a beautiful 1930's book, Winnie the Pooh paper doll, an old Bakelite brooch and a gorgeous tiny cup and saucer....
Today I have finished sewing for my Izannah Walker style doll. She has a full set of underwear.
And a dusky pink dress, with puffed sleeves, tucked bodice, and 3 rows of black braid on her skirt.
She was hand sculpted with paperclay over a cloth base. Her boots, stockings, hair and eyes are hand painted.
She is about 11" tall, and I've really enjoyed making her.
What a great weekend!
oh i love her--want her need !!! xxxxxxxxxx
